Sara Gómez Woolley is a Latina illustrator, graphic novelist and educator based in Brooklyn, New York. She coloured DC Comics' Wonder Woman: Warbringer graphic novel, published in 2020, and illustrated Pirate Queens: The Dauntless Women Who Dared to Rule the High Seas for National Geographic Kids in 2022. Her clients also include Image Comics, Scholastic and Random House. She is tenured faculty in the Communication Design department of the New York City College of Technology and teaches in the CUNY Graduate Center's biography and memoir programme, and she sits on the board of the New York Society of Illustrators.
