Tom Angleberger is an American children's author and illustrator. He studied art at the College of William & Mary and worked as a newspaper journalist before turning to fiction, publishing his early books under the pen name Sam Riddleburger. He is best known for the Origami Yoda series, which began with The Strange Case of Origami Yoda in 2010 and ran to five further volumes. He has also written the Qwikpick Papers, Inspector Flytrap, DJ Funkyfoot and, more recently, the Dino Poet graphic novels for Abrams, as well as titles in the Geronimo Stilton line. He is married to the children's author Cece Bell.
