Tatsuki Fujimoto

Tatsuki Fujimoto is a Japanese manga author, born in 1992 or 1993 in Nikaho, Akita Prefecture, and a 2014 graduate of Tohoku University of Art and Design. He serialised “Fire Punch” in Shōnen Jump+ from 2016 to 2018, then began “Chainsaw Man”, the story of Denji, a young man fused with a chainsaw devil and drafted into a devil-hunting squad: its first part ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2018 to 2020 and the second in Shōnen Jump+ from 2022. He also drew the one-shots “Look Back” (2021) and “Goodbye, Eri” (2022). “Chainsaw Man” has been adapted into a television anime by MAPPA and won the Shogakukan Manga Award in 2021.
