Steven Grant, born in 1953 in Madison, Wisconsin, is an American comics writer. At Marvel he wrote the 1986 Punisher limited series that launched the character's own title, as well as runs on The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers; at DC he wrote Manhunter and Challengers of the Unknown. His creator-owned work includes Whisper, begun at First Comics in the 1980s, and 2 Guns, published by Boom! Studios and adapted into a film in 2013. He has also written for Dark Horse, Avatar Press and IDW.
