Robin Furth is an American writer, born in 1965 and raised in Pennsylvania and coastal Maine. She became Stephen King's research assistant in 2000, hired to keep the continuity of The Dark Tower straight while he finished the cycle; King judged the resulting notes worth publishing, and they became The Dark Tower: A Concordance, later collected as The Complete Concordance (Scribner, 2006) and translated into several European languages. She also drew the maps printed in the novels. With Peter David she plotted Marvel's Dark Tower comics, adapting the cycle across the Beginnings, The Gunslinger and The Drawing of the Three story arcs.
