Richard Stark was the best-known pen name of the American crime novelist Donald E. Westlake (1933-2008). Under it he wrote twenty-four novels about Parker, a professional thief, from The Hunter in 1962 to Dirty Money in 2008; several were filmed, among them Point Blank (1967) and Payback (1999). Between 2009 and 2013 the Canadian cartoonist Darwyn Cooke adapted four of the novels into graphic novels for IDW Publishing, which make up most of this catalogue. Westlake won three Edgar Awards and was named a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America in 1993.
