Philippe Lechermeier

Philippe Lechermeier is a French children's author. He studied modern literature in Strasbourg and taught French and history at a secondary school there before publishing his first picture book, La valise, with Didier Jeunesse in 1998. His work with illustrator Rébecca Dautremer produced Princesses oubliées ou inconnues (Gautier-Languereau, 2004), published in English as The Secret Lives of Princesses, and later Une bible (2014). He has written more than twenty books for young readers, for publishers including Gautier-Languereau, Flammarion Jeunesse, Thierry Magnier and Les Fourmis rouges.
