Mike Friedrich

Mike Friedrich is an American comics writer, publisher and agent, born in 1949. He wrote Justice League of America for DC from 1970 to 1972 and Iron Man for Marvel from 1972 to 1975, along with Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Werewolf by Night; those runs are what the reprint volumes in this catalogue collect. In 1974 he founded Star*Reach, an independent anthology that left its contributors their copyright, and published it until 1979. He later ran Star*Reach as a talent agency from 1982, managed direct sales at Marvel, and co-owned the WonderCon convention until its sale to Comic-Con International in 2001.
