Marc Sumerak is an American comics writer and editor based in Cleveland, Ohio. He joined Marvel as an editorial intern, worked as an assistant editor on the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Thor and Iron Man lines, then turned to writing: he is best known for Power Pack and for Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius, drawn by Chris Eliopoulos. He has also written for the Star Wars, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters and Firefly franchises, co-wrote the reference book Marvel Anatomy: A Scientific Study of the Superhuman, and writes narrative for video games, including Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Marvel Future Revolution and Marvel Rivals.
