Lisa Unger is an American novelist, born in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1970, who writes psychological thrillers built around families and the secrets they keep. She published her first four novels under the name Lisa Miscione, beginning with “Angel Fire” in 2002, and has written under her married name since “Beautiful Lies” (2006). Among her later books are “In the Blood” (2014), “The New Couple in 5B” (2024) and “Served Him Right” (2026). Her novels are translated into some thirty languages.
