Kristin Cast

Kristin Cast is an American author of young adult fiction and romantic fantasy, born in 1986 and raised in Oklahoma. She began publishing in 2007 with House of Night, a twelve-volume vampire series written with her mother, P. C. Cast, and the two continued the story in the House of Night Other World sequence. On her own she has written The Escaped (Amber Smoke, Scarlet Rain, Cerulean Sea), the dystopian Key series (The Key to Fear, The Key to Fury) and, since 2025, the tarot-themed Towerfall romances published by Sourcebooks. She has also co-written the Sisters of Salem and Moonstruck series with P. C. Cast.
