Kristen Britain

Kristen Britain, born in 1965, is an American fantasy novelist. Her first novel, Green Rider (1998), opened the series of the same name published by DAW Books and continued in First Rider's Call (2003), The High King's Tomb (2007), Blackveil (2011), Mirror Sight (2014), Firebrand (2017), Winterlight (2021) and Spirit of the Wood (2023). She wrote the first book while working full time as a park ranger at Acadia National Park, and long combined the two occupations. Her short fiction appears in anthologies, among them Unbound II.
