Kate Hewitt is an American-born writer of romance and women's fiction who lives in a market town in Wales. She studied drama, moved to England shortly after marrying, and worked as a drama teacher, editorial assistant and church youth worker before selling her first short story to the British magazine The People's Friend. She has written more than thirty romances for Harlequin Presents, as well as historical novels and contemporary women's fiction for Bookouture, among them the Vicarage series.
