Jonathan Strahan is a Northern Irish-born Australian editor, anthologist and critic of science fiction and fantasy. Born in Belfast in 1964, he has lived in Perth since 1968. He co-edited the magazine Eidolon from 1990 to 1999 and has been Reviews Editor at Locus since 2002. As an anthologist he compiled the annual series The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of the Year for Solaris, thirteen volumes up to 2019, as well as the Eclipse series and the seven linked volumes of The Infinity Project. Since 2010 he has co-hosted the Coode Street Podcast with Gary K. Wolfe, which won the Hugo Award for Best Fancast in 2021; he received a World Fantasy Award in 2010.
