Joe Caramagna is an American comics letterer and writer, born in 1976 in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, and a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. He has lettered for Marvel since 2005, through the Virtual Calligraphy studio, on titles ranging from Uncanny X-Men to The Amazing Spider-Man and New Avengers. As a writer he works mainly on comics drawn from animation: the Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble and Guardians of the Galaxy digests for Marvel, and DuckTales, Big Hero 6, Frozen and Zootopia for Disney. He has been nominated for both the Harvey and the Eisner awards.
