
Jack Kilborn is the pen name under which the American novelist J. A. Konrath writes horror. Born Joseph Andrew Konrath in Skokie, Illinois, in 1970, he made his name with the Jack Daniels thrillers, beginning with Whiskey Sour in 2003, then turned to horror as Kilborn with Afraid, Trapped and Endurance. He also writes the Serial novellas with Blake Crouch, teaches writing in Illinois, and is a long-standing advocate of self-publishing.
