Hope Larson, born in 1982 in North Carolina, is an American cartoonist and comics writer. Her 2012 graphic-novel adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time won an Eisner Award in 2013, after an earlier Eisner in 2007 and an Ignatz Award in 2006. She created the series Goldie Vance with artist Brittney Williams and wrote DC Comics' Batgirl from 2016. She is one of the writers of the Minecraft: Stories from the Overworld anthology published by Dark Horse.
