Mark Hayes is a British writer of speculative fiction, born in Yorkshire and living in Teesside. He works across steampunk, Lovecraftian horror and science fiction, and is the author of the Hannibal Smyth misadventures and of the novel Passing Place. He is one of the regular contributors to Harvey Duckman Presents…, the short-fiction anthology series launched by Sixth Element Publishing in 2019, and writes about his work on his blog The Passing Place.
