David Hailwood is a British comics writer and editor. Over more than twenty years in the UK comics market his work has appeared in over thirty publications, among them Egmont's children's comic Toxic, Strip magazine, Accent UK, FutureQuake and Meanwhile, and he has written comedy material broadcast on ITV and E4. He edits two anthologies of his own: the science-fiction collection 100% Biodegradable, and Hotchpotch, a full-colour comics anthology for readers aged 8 to 12 published by Biomekazoik Press. His first children's novel is The Last of the Navel Navigators.
