Guillaume Musso is a French novelist, born on 6 June 1974 in Antibes. He read economics, qualified as a teacher of economics and social sciences, and taught the subject from 1999 to 2008, first in Moselle and then in the Alpes-Maritimes. His first novel, Skidamarink, appeared in 2001; Afterwards... (XO Éditions, 2003) made his name and was filmed in 2008 with John Malkovich and Evangeline Lilly. He published with XO until 2017, then moved to Calmann-Lévy, where his novels include The Secret Life of Writers (2019), Angélique (2022), Quelqu'un d'autre (2024) and Le Crime du paradis, his twenty-second, in March 2026. His work is translated into more than forty languages; Girl on Paper, Central Park, Brooklyn Girl, Call from an Angel and The Reunion have appeared in English.
