Gordon D. Fee (1934-2022) was an American-Canadian New Testament scholar and an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God. He taught at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary from 1974 to 1986, then at Regent College in Vancouver, where he was Professor of New Testament Studies until his retirement in 2009. A specialist in textual criticism, he wrote the New International Commentary volumes on 1 Corinthians, Philippians and 1-2 Thessalonians, edited that series until 2012, and sat on the Committee on Bible Translation. With Douglas Stuart he wrote How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth, translated into some thirty languages.
