
Éric Maltaite is a Belgian comics artist, born in Brussels in 1958. The son of the cartoonist Will, he created the spy series 421 with writer Stephen Desberg, serialised in Spirou and published by Dupuis in ten albums between 1983 and 1992. He went on to draw Zambada with Jean-Pierre Autheman, Les Campeurs with Vincent Dugomier, Choc with Stéphan Colman — a prequel about the Tif et Tondu villain — and Hollywoodland with Zidrou.
