David Hine, born in 1956, is an English comics writer and artist. At Marvel he wrote District X, X-Men: The 198, Civil War: X-Men and Silent War, and co-created Spider-Man Noir with Fabrice Sapolsky; at DC, Detective Comics, Azrael and Arkham Reborn. He wrote Spawn for Image Comics from issue #150 to #184. His creator-owned books include Strange Embrace, The Bulletproof Coffin with Shaky Kane, and Sonata and The Marked with Brian Haberlin.
