Brené Brown

Brené Brown is an American research professor at the University of Houston, where she holds the Huffington Foundation Endowed Chair at the Graduate College of Social Work, and a professor of practice at the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business. For more than two decades she has studied courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Her books include The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, Dare to Lead, and Atlas of the Heart, several of them number-one New York Times bestsellers. Her TED talk "The Power of Vulnerability" is among the most viewed of all time, and she hosts the podcasts Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead.
