Barry Kitson

Barry Kitson is a British comic book artist, born in 1957. He started at Marvel UK on Spider-Man before drawing for 2000 AD, where his Judge Anderson stories with Alan Grant made his name. He went on to DC Comics, drawing Batman titles and Azrael and co-creating L.E.G.I.O.N. With the writer Mark Waid he made Empire, the story of a supervillain who has already won, begun at Gorilla Comics in 2000 and completed at DC; the pair then relaunched Legion of Super-Heroes in 2004, the run Planeta DeAgostini published in Spanish. He has worked mainly for Marvel since 2007.
