B.A. Paris

B.A. Paris is a British novelist, born in 1958 to a French-Irish family. She worked for several years as a trader at a bank in Paris, then ran a language school with her husband, and came to writing late. Her first novel, "Behind Closed Doors" (2016), a psychological thriller about a marriage that looks perfect from the outside, became a bestseller on both sides of the Atlantic and has been translated into some forty languages. It was followed by "The Breakdown" (2017), filmed as "Blackwater Lane", "Bring Me Back" (2018), "The Dilemma" (2020), "The Therapist" (2021) and "The Prisoner" (2022).
