Annie West is an Australian romance novelist. She drafted government reports before turning to fiction, writing her first novel during leave taken to spend time with her children. Her first sale to Harlequin Mills & Boon came in 2005, and she has since written more than fifty category romances, mostly for the Modern line, built around princes, sheikhs and high-stakes bargains. A USA Today bestseller and a winner of Romance Writers of Australia's Romantic Book of the Year award, she lives at Lake Macquarie, north of Sydney.
