Angela Marsons

Angela Marsons (born 1968) is a British crime novelist from Brierley Hill, in the Black Country. She wrote for some twenty-five years without finding a publisher, working meanwhile as a security guard at the Merry Hill shopping centre, until the digital imprint Bookouture took her on and released Silent Scream in 2015 — the first case of Detective Inspector Kim Stone. Set in the industrial West Midlands, the Kim Stone series now runs to more than twenty volumes and has been translated into some thirty languages; her contract with Bookouture was extended in 2025 to thirty-six titles running to 2032. She lives in Worcestershire.
