Amor Towles is an American novelist, born in 1964 in Boston. After more than twenty years working as an investment professional, he turned to writing full time. He is the author of the bestselling novels Rules of Civility (2011), A Gentleman in Moscow (2016) and The Lincoln Highway (2021), as well as the short-fiction collection Table for Two (2024). His books have been translated into more than forty languages. He lives in Manhattan.
