Ali Hazelwood

Ali Hazelwood is the pen name of an Italian-born romance novelist who lives and writes in the United States. She holds a PhD in neuroscience and worked as a university researcher and professor on brain stimulation until 2022, a background that feeds the academic settings of her fiction. Her first novel, “The Love Hypothesis” (2021), grew out of a fan fiction posted online in 2018. She has since written “Love on the Brain” (2022), “Love, Theoretically” (2023), the young-adult “Check & Mate” (2023), “Not in Love” (2024), “Deep End” (2025) and “Problematic Summer Romance” (2025), as well as the paranormal romances “Bride” (2024) and its sequel “Mate” (2025).
