Adeline Dieudonné is a Belgian novelist and playwright writing in French, born in 1982 in Ixelles, Brussels. After a career in the theatre she published her first novel, "La vraie vie", with L'Iconoclaste in 2018; it won the Prix Rossel, the Prix Filigranes, the Grand Prix des Lectrices de Elle, the Prix Renaudot des Lycéens and the Prix Fnac, and has been translated into some thirty languages — into English as "Real Life" (World Editions, 2020). Two further novels followed, "Kerozene" (2021) and "Reste" (2023), alongside the theatre collection "Bonobo Moussaka" and children's books illustrated by Arnold Hovart.
