Saba Holland, Lady Holland (1802-1866), was the eldest daughter of the English clergyman and essayist Sydney Smith, and the second wife of the physician Sir Henry Holland. She is remembered for the two-volume A Memoir of the Reverend Sydney Smith, published by Longman in 1855, in which she set out to correct the received picture of her father as a Holland House wit and present him instead as a working country parson. The letters that accompany the memoir were selected by Sarah Austin.
