Benjamin Nathans is an American historian. He is the Alan Charles Kors Endowed Term Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania. His book, To the Success of Our Hopeless Cause: The Many Lives of the Soviet Dissident Movement received the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction and won the 2025 Pushkin House Russian Book Prize.
