Yves Sente, born in Uccle in 1964, is a Belgian comics writer. He joined the publisher Le Lombard in 1991 and became its editorial director the following year, creating several imprints before leaving the post in 2008 to write full time. He took over Blake and Mortimer in 2000 with André Juillard, then Thorgal in 2007 with Grzegorz Rosinski, along with its spin-off The Worlds of Thorgal - Kriss of Valnor, and XIII in 2011 with Youri Jigounov. With Rosinski he also wrote the two-volume The Revenge of Count Skarbek, which won him the Belgian Chamber of Comics Experts prize in 2005.
