Stéphan Colman

Belgian comics author, born in Liège in 1961. He drew "Billy the Cat" to scripts by Stephen Desberg — seven albums published by Dupuis between 1990 and 2002 — which earned him the Alph-Art jeunesse at Angoulême in 1991. He later turned to writing: since 2006 he has scripted the "Marsupilami" albums drawn by Batem, co-created "Sam Speed" with him, and wrote "Choc" for Éric Maltaite, an award-winner in 2014-2015. He signs his work Stéphan Colman, sometimes Stephan Colman; his birth name is Stéphane Colman.
