Sophie Jomain

Sophie Jomain is a French novelist, born on 10 December 1975 in Villefranche-sur-Saône. Trained as an archaeologist, she turned to writing after the birth of her daughter and published “Vertige” in 2010, the first of the five-volume series “Les Étoiles de Noss Head”, set in the Scottish Highlands. The following year she opened her urban fantasy series “Felicity Atcock” with “Les anges mordent aussi”, which grew to seven volumes. She also writes romantic comedies and seasonal romances — “Cherche jeune femme avisée” (2014), “D’un commun accord” (2015), “Gâteau d’amour” (2019), “Les étoiles brillent plus fort en hiver” (2020), “Les perce-neige s’éveillent sous les flocons” (2022), “Et viva la vida !” (2024), “Le vent souffle sur Little Balmoral” (2025) — and in 2026 “T’aimer à l’infini” for Albin Michel Jeunesse. She publishes with Pygmalion, J’ai lu, HarperCollins, Charleston and Auzou.
