Sandye Gloria-Palermo, born in 1964, is a French economist and historian of economic thought. She defended her doctorate at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in 1996 on the Mengerian roots of the Austrian tradition, and is now a professor of economics at Universite Cote d'Azur and a member of the GREDEG research group. Her work follows the Austrian school from Carl Menger to Ludwig Lachmann and compares its ontology with mainstream equilibrium theory. She wrote The Evolution of Austrian Economics: From Menger to Lachmann (Routledge, 1999) and edited Modern Austrian Economics: Archaeology of a Revival, the three-volume collection of texts from the school's revival.
