Neil Gaiman

Neil Gaiman is a British author, born on 10 November 1960 in Portchester, England. He started out as a journalist and published a biography of Duran Duran in 1984 before moving to comics with “Violent Cases” (1987). His 75-issue series “The Sandman” (DC Comics, 1989-1996) established him as a major voice in fantasy. He wrote “Good Omens” with Terry Pratchett (1990), then “Neverwhere” (1996), “Stardust” (1999), “American Gods” (2001), “Coraline” (2002), “The Graveyard Book” (2008), “The Ocean at the End of the Lane” (2013) and “Norse Mythology” (2017). His work has received the Hugo, Nebula, Bram Stoker, Locus and World Fantasy awards, as well as the Newbery and Carnegie medals.
