Marc Hardy, born in Liège in 1952, is a Belgian comics artist. In 1983 he created the fantasy series Arkel in the magazine Spirou with the writer Stephen Desberg, its albums appearing from Dupuis and later Palombia. The same year he began Pierre Tombal, written by Raoul Cauvin — the gags of a gravedigger and the dead in his cemetery — which became his most popular series. He returned to the world of Arkel in 2008 under the title Ange & Diablesses.
