Martin Lodewijk

Martin Lodewijk, born in Rotterdam on 30 April 1939, is a Dutch comics writer and artist. His first cartoon appeared in the newspaper Het Parool in 1959, and in 1966 he created Agent 327 with Jan Kruis for the weekly Pep, a spy parody he went on to write and draw for close to fifty years. He also worked as a scriptwriter for other artists, most durably for Don Lawrence on the science fiction series Storm, as well as for Johnny Goodbye, January Jones and De Rode Ridder. After Pep merged with Sjors to become Eppo, he served as the magazine's editor in chief.
