Liane Moriarty

Liane Moriarty is an Australian novelist, born on 15 November 1966 in Sydney. She worked in advertising and marketing before publishing her first novel, “Three Wishes”, in 2003. She is best known for “The Husband's Secret” (2013), “Big Little Lies” (2014, adapted into an acclaimed HBO series in 2017 with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman), “Truly Madly Guilty” (2016), “Nine Perfect Strangers” (2018, adapted for Hulu in 2021) and “Apples Never Fall” (2021). “Here One Moment” followed in 2024, and “Big Little Truths” — her first sequel, to “Big Little Lies” — in August 2026. She is published in the United States by Amy Einhorn / Henry Holt.
