Leinil Francis Yu, born in 1977, is a Filipino comics artist. Spotted through a Wizard magazine contest, he began at Wildstorm in the mid-1990s before moving to Marvel, where he drew Wolverine and then X-Men. Later work includes Superman: Birthright with Mark Waid, New Avengers and the Secret Invasion miniseries, Superior with Mark Millar, and the Captain America run written by Ta-Nehisi Coates in 2018. He is one of the artists of the X-Men relaunch collected in France as Dawn of X.
