Jean-Paul Dubois

Jean-Paul Dubois is a French novelist, born in Toulouse in 1950, where he still lives. He studied sociology and worked as a journalist — a sports writer at Sud Ouest, a reporter at Le Matin de Paris and then a senior correspondent for Le Nouvel Observateur — before turning to fiction. Published by Éditions de l'Olivier, he wrote “Kennedy et moi” (1996), “Une vie française” (2004), which won the Prix Femina, “Le Cas Sneijder” (2011), “La Succession” (2016) and “Tous les hommes n'habitent pas le monde de la même façon” (2019), which won the Prix Goncourt and appeared in English as “Not Everybody Lives the Same Way”.
