James Asmus

James Asmus is an American comic book writer who came to the medium from Chicago sketch and improv theatre, where he wrote for The Annoyance and The New Colony. Marvel hired him off the back of a New York run of one of his shows, and he went on to write Generation Hope, Gambit and Captain America & Bucky. At Valiant he wrote Quantum and Woody, nominated six times at the 2014 Harvey Awards, as well as The Delinquents and Unity; at Image, Thief of Thieves and Evolution. He has also written Rick and Morty for Oni Press and the Transformers/My Little Pony crossovers for IDW.
