Howard Mackie (born 1958) is an American comic book writer and editor. He joined Marvel Comics in 1984 as an assistant editor and moved to writing at the end of the decade, launching the Danny Ketch incarnation of Ghost Rider in 1990 and scripting the series until 1996. Through the following decade he worked across Marvel's mutant and Spider-Man lines: X-Factor from 1995, Mutant X from 1998, and The Amazing Spider-Man from its 1999 relaunch. He later wrote The Ravagers for DC Comics in 2012.
