Lim Heng Swee, who signs his work ilovedoodle, is a Malaysian illustrator based in Kuala Lumpur. Named designer of the year by Threadless in 2009 and again in 2011, he has drawn for Uniqlo, Gap and Graniph. His books include the picture book Apolline et la vallée de l'espoir (Grasset jeunesse, 2020) and the Catffirmations series for Chronicle Books, begun in 2022, whose minimalist cats have since become a journal, a set of notecards and a run of wall calendars.
