Emily McIntire is an American romance novelist. She is best known for the Never After series, a set of standalone dark romances built around the villains of well-known fairy tales — Hooked, Scarred, Wretched, Twisted, Crossed and Hexed — republished in collector editions by Bloom Books. She also wrote the Sugar Lake series and is beginning a new interconnected standalone series, Defying the Stars, opened by “Burning Daylight” (2025).
