Conn Iggulden

Conn Iggulden, born in London in 1971, is a British writer of historical fiction and a former English teacher. He is best known for long narrative cycles built on real figures and events: the Emperor series on Julius Caesar, the Conqueror series on Genghis Khan and his heirs, and a four-book sequence on the Wars of the Roses published between 2013 and 2016. He has since written novels set in classical Greece and imperial Rome. With his brother Hal he wrote The Dangerous Book for Boys in 2006, and in 2007 he became the first author to top the British fiction and non-fiction charts at the same time.
