Christelle Dabos is a French novelist, born in 1980 on the Côte d'Azur and living in Belgium since 2005. She began writing during her recovery from cancer, within an online writing community, and in 2013 won Gallimard's debut youth-novel competition for “Les Fiancés de l'hiver” (published in English as “A Winter's Promise”), the first volume of the fantasy tetralogy The Mirror Visitor. The series follows Ophelia, a young woman able to read the past of objects and travel through mirrors across a shattered world of floating arks; it continues with “The Missing of Clairdelune”, “The Memory of Babel” and “The Storm of Echoes” (2015-2019). She later published “Ici et seulement ici” (2022).
