Camilla Läckberg is a Swedish crime novelist, born on 30 August 1974 in Fjällbacka on the west coast of Sweden. She took a degree in business administration at the University of Gothenburg and worked as an economist before publishing her first novel, “Isprinsessan” (“The Ice Princess”), in 2003. It opened a series of investigations set in her home village, where the writer Erica Falck and the policeman Patrik Hedström lead the enquiries across some ten volumes. She went on to write the Faye trilogy, beginning with “A Golden Cage” (2019) and “Silver Wings” (2020), and a series co-written with the mentalist Henrik Fexeus built around Vincent and Mina.
